1) What is driving the need for passenger rail service since the automobile clearly gives individuals and families maximum schedule and destination flexibility and requires a massive investment and substantial ongoing public operational subsidy?
2) Is the passenger rail system driven by the goal to implement the EO12852 “Sustainable America” policy?
3) Is the high speed passenger rail service part of Tulsa’s “Tulsa without Cars” initiative?
4) What percentage of the current automobile use do you plan to eliminate with passenger rail service?
5) Do you intend passenger rail service to lead to a substantial reduction of automobile use or its eventual elimination?
6) What is the maximum one way carrying capacity of your proposal?
7) What is the feasible maximum one way carrying capacity of the high speed technology you propose to use?
8) How do you expect to afford a parallel means of transportation when maintenance of roadways and bridges has been so neglected or will future maintenance of roadways and bridges be deferred in favor of high speed rail?
